Big things for BIG and Salesforce in 2017
It is hard to believe that the end of another year is upon us. It feels as though we were just writing our look back on 2016, yet here we are a whole year later. And what a year it has been!
For Salesforce, 2017 has been the year of Lightning and AI. The evolution of the sleek Lightning interface coupled with the power of the Einstein intelligence layer has made for another exciting year in Salesforce deployments. Features such as Path and Assistant made it easier than ever to stay on top of high profile records. A Sales Path, for example, can be configured with a few clicks. The path guides users through each stage of the sales process, prompting users to enter key fields and reminding them of important selling points. Add Einstein to the mix and users are alerted to records that need attention and deals they should be working on. This combination of guided, intelligent processes and a user-friendly, sleek environment has made for another year of tremendous Salesforce growth.
We, at BlackIron, have continued to grow as well. Our focus this year has been working with new clients to deploy the Lightning interface, and assist many of our existing customers with their Lightning migration. Starting fresh with a new interface is always easier than migrating from an interface that users have grown accustomed to. With each release, Lightning has gotten better, and we find that we are no longer toggling back to Classic!
Once again, we worked on building long-lasting relationships with our customer base. Our team of Salesforce experts continued to expand their knowledge with new certifications such as Pardot, CPQ, and Field Service Lightning. We hosted several Customer Success events with our salesforce partners – it was great to see so many of you there. We engaged regularly with our clients to ensure that they had all of the latest information on salesforce features and upcoming changes.
