I’m sure you heard, but IBM is continuing their buying spree on PS firms. Bluewolf is one of the oldest and largest Salesforce partners, and so I can see how the acquisition can bring revenue potential, but what I just don’t get is why would IBM do this? NOTHING against BlueWolf – they’re a fine company, but I don’t see any real IP (we all know salesforce right?) and no real recurring revenue (I’m sure they have some support contracts, but it can’t be much). I guess I just don’t see the play here.
That said, with Cloud being the buzzword going on 4 years now, I guess anyone who wants to play has to play in the sky. Maybe that’s it? I just don’t know.
