Flexlume unified Salesforce and Epicor to streamline sales, quoting, & reporting across the business.

How we helped Flexlume

Flexlume wanted Salesforce to become the operational hub for its entire business—one that connected seamlessly with Epicor for sales, orders, and project management. We designed and implemented a custom Salesforce–Kinetic integration that unified data and eliminated manual work across departments.

Key elements included:

  • Real-time data synchronization between Salesforce and Epicor P21 for accounts, products, orders, commissions, and project records.
  • Automated project creation—when a deal closes in Salesforce, it triggers a corresponding project in, complete with materials and milestones.
  • Two-way order updates that push fulfillment and shipment data back into Salesforce for instant visibility.
  • Enhanced project management tools in Salesforce, including templates, milestone tracking, and Visualforce components for quick updates.
  • Comprehensive dashboards and reports that give leadership a single view of sales, project progress, and profitability.

Result: Flexlume gained a connected, automated workflow that eliminated double entry, improved data accuracy, and provided end-to-end visibility from quote to installation.

How we can help you

Whether your data lives in an ERP like Epicor, JobBOSS, or Made2Manage, or your teams are still managing quotes and projects in spreadsheets, BlackIron can connect it all to Salesforce. Our approach blends configuration (“clicks, not code”) with targeted API integration so your users spend time selling and delivering—not reconciling systems.

Why it Matters

When CRM and ERP speak the same language, sales teams quote faster, operations fulfill more accurately, and leadership gets visibility they can trust. Flexlume’s connected system means fewer errors, real-time reporting, and a smoother hand-off from opportunity to order to cash.

Kenworth NE Sends Reps to the Right Doors, with BlackIron

Kenworth NE, an independently owned truck dealership with roots in Buffalo, New York now reaching into Massachusetts and Rhode Island, needed its sales team working from real data in the field, not guesswork back at a desk. BlackIron Group built Salesforce around Karmak, Kenworth NE’s DMS, and centered the whole experience on Salesforce Maps, giving reps a tool they could carry into the field to log calls by voice, snap photos on site, and see which accounts had gone quiet. Account records carried real Karmak purchase and service history, leads got logged with enough detail to show which sources actually produced sales, and KPIs built on real field activity became something managers and reps both trusted. The result: a sales process that runs the same way for every rep, grounded in Karmak data that used to sit unused in the DMS.

Trans Chicago Gets Procede Data Into Reps’ Hands, with BlackIron

Trans Chicago Truck Group, an Elite Support Certified Freightliner, Western Star, and Isuzu dealer across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, was running its sales team on spreadsheets with no CRM built to match the size of the dealership. BlackIron Group built Salesforce around Trans Chicago’s full sales process and connected it directly to Procede, syncing accounts, repair orders, parts orders, sales orders, and inventory on a schedule so reps see live DMS data without leaving the CRM. A custom Add-On configurator and trade-in tool let reps price a full deal, and Conga Composer turns that into a finished quote, bill of sale, and spec sheet in the time it used to take to find the right numbers. The result: Trans Chicago’s leadership now sees accounts worth up to $49 million in lifetime truck purchases on one dashboard, built on data that used to live only in Procede.
