KORU is, a patient-oriented company that goes the extra mile for their customers and the patients who depend on their devices. They supply their patients primarily through a vast partner network. Understanding the shipment trends and inventory levels at these partners is critical in help them to maintain sufficient stock quantities.
BlackIron Group initially helped Koru deploy Sales Cloud and help their Sales Reps build and maintain an accurate pipeline forecast. These tools gave the internal team the ability to quickly create and manage their partner pipeline (over 200 strong). But by far their biggest problem was understanding the partner supply chain. There were several issues with this – shipments to partners at the product level were stored in multiple spreadsheets, and the Account numbers for each partner was different depending on the major distributor handling the shipments. BlackIron Group worked out an integration strategy that stored multiple account numbers for a single partner, and then used email web services to intake these spreadsheets and allow Koru to make data driven decisions from the data. |
